The SSAI Poster Competition encourages teams of two to five secondary school students to develop, implement and creatively report upon an investigation. The competition will grow with the support of the UON’s Priority Research Centre CARMA and the Inspiring Mathematics and Science in Teacher Education Project, as well as a 2016 HEPP NPP grant with UON Senior Lecturer in Statistics, Dr Peter Howley as lead investigator.ĭr Howley developed and coordinates the competition within his role as Chair of Statistics Education for the Statistical Society of Australia.
